Privacy Policy
This policy explains what (“we”) collects when you visit , why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
1. Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message. We keep it only as long as needed to answer you and to hold a record of any correction request.
- Technical logs. Our server and CDN record the usual request data — IP address, user agent, referring page, the URL requested and a timestamp — to keep the site running and to block abuse.
- Aggregate analytics. We may count page views and referrers in aggregate. These numbers are not tied to your identity.
2. What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not build advertising profiles from your reading history, and we do not ask you to create an account in order to read an article.
3. Cookies
The site works without cookies for reading. Where a cookie or local storage entry is used, it is for a preference you chose (such as a light/dark setting). Third-party embeds — a video or a social post inside an article — may set their own cookies under their own policies; your browser settings control those.
4. Advertising and third parties
If advertising is shown on this site, it is delivered by a third-party ad provider that may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads. Those providers act as independent controllers of that data and publish their own privacy notices and opt-out controls.
5. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that operate the site for us — hosting, CDN and email delivery — and only as far as needed to provide that service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
6. Retention
Contact-form messages are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle. Aggregate statistics may be retained indefinitely because they cannot identify you.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Send the request through the contact page and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows.
8. Children
This site is written for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be called out on the home page.
