About Us
is an independent publication about the craft of building things on the web — the tools, the trade-offs and the parts nobody writes down.
What we publish
Long-form guides, short field notes and the occasional teardown. Every article is written from first-hand work rather than press releases, and we say plainly when something didn't pan out.
Who writes it
A small editorial team of practitioners. We write under our own names, we don't accept paid placements, and we disclose it in the article whenever a company has given us access, hardware or funding.
How we work
- Test before publishing. If we recommend a tool, we have run it in anger.
- Correct in public. Mistakes get an update note, not a silent edit.
- No dark patterns. No pop-ups over the article, no fake countdowns.
